Washington: On Monday, US President Donald Trump said that additional nations would be joined to the International Stabilization Force for Gaza, which is currently in operation. In the Oval Office, Trump declared, “I think that, in a form, it’s already running.” “An increasing number of nations are joining it. They have already entered, but they will send as many troops as I request. According to Trump, his government is investigating whether Israel killed a Hamas senior on Saturday in violation of the Gaza ceasefire.
To maintain peace, the Trump-brokered cease-fire for Israel’s two-year conflict in the Gaza Strip calls for an International Stabilization force authorized by the United Nations. In order to plan the International Stabilization Force for Gaza, the U.S. Central Command, which is in charge of U.S. military forces in the Middle East, will meet with partner countries in Doha on December 16.Additionally, Trump stated that his administration was investigating whether Israel’s execution of a Hamas leader over the weekend violated the cease-fire.
The Israeli strike that killed Raed Saad, the deputy commander of Hamas’ military wing, and three other people in Gaza City on Saturday violated the cease-fire agreement that Trump mediated, the White House emphasized in “stern” private messages to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
