DUBAI: Several agreements were signed on the first day of the Future hotel Summit in Dubai, highlighting the continued development and innovation in the Middle East’s hotel industry. Mohammed Abdullah Al Muhanna Hotels Ltd. of Saudi Arabia announced during the occasion that it has partnered with Marriott International to open the Four Points by Sheraton Jeddah. Aleph Hospitality will oversee the establishment. When it opens in 2025, this proposed hotel should improve Jeddah’s developing hospitality scene.
Another significant milestone was the joint venture between Accor and Summary Executive Properties to build Swissotel Residences Waterfront, the first independent residential property under the Swissotel brand globally. This opulent construction, which is expected to be completed in 2027 on the Dubai Islands, will have 105 apartments and penthouses with breathtaking views of the Dubai skyline. “The partnership with Accor Group reflects our shared vision of establishing an opulent residential community that exemplifies the highest standards of design, luxury living, and tailored services for homeowners,” stated Dmitry Kryuchkov, the creator of Summary Executive Properties.
Accor One Living, a platform devoted to mixed-use developments and community living, will support the project, expanding Accor’s presence in the area. Accor presently maintains 282 properties in the area, with another 112 under development. Additionally, Skyline University College disclosed a number of agreements meant to bolster the real estate, tourism, and hospitality industries in the area.
