The Alsulaiman Group named the five illustrious businesses that will be mentees in the Sustainability Champions Program on Wednesday. Leading companies in the sector, Extra, Saudia Cargo, Johnson Controls Arabia, Nesma, and Floward are among the new members; they are dedicated to promoting sustainability and supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The CEOs of the newly inducted mentees signed a formal pledge at the pledge signing event in Jeddah, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to implementing sustainable business practices and supporting the Kingdom’s ambitious goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2060. This was a significant announcement made during the event. This event marked an important milestone in their quest to have a long-lasting social and environmental effect.
The Sustainability Champions Program, sponsored by MEP, was officially launched during the World Economic Forum Special Meeting in Riyadh last April. The program’s goal is to mentor top organisations by giving them the knowledge, tools, and direction they need to integrate sustainability into their fundamental business practices.
Declaring with excitement, “We are honoured to welcome these esteemed organisations as mentees of the Sustainability Champions Program,” was Saud Alsulaiman, CEO of Alsulaiman Group. Their promise to change their industry and help Saudi Arabia have a sustainable future is not only a commitment but also a declaration of intent made today. Together, we are creating momentum for significant change, and Alsulaiman Group is honoured to guide and assist them along this life-changing path.
