RIYADH: People in Syria, Yemen, Sudan, and Jordan still receive humanitarian aid from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief).
On Wednesday, KSrelief provided 7,926 people in the Aleppo Governorate’s city of Afrin with 1,321 food packs and 1,321 hygiene kits.The donation is a component of a scheme that involves helping those impacted by the northern Syrian earthquake.
KSrelief distributed 740 food parcels in the province of Lahij, Yemen. This initiative, which is a component of the food aid project to support Yemen’s most vulnerable families for 2024, helped 5,180 people from 740 families.
Additionally, KSrelief provided 1,400 people in the Kyrgyz Republic’s city of Osh with 280 food boxes on Wednesday. KSrelief organized a volunteer medical initiative for specialised thyroid operations in Port Sudan on Thursday. The project began on October 12 and will run through October 19.
Since the campaign began, KSrelief’s team of medical volunteers has successfully completed 15 specialised thyroid procedures.KSrelief started a project in Jordan to help Syrian orphans and the community that is caring for them.
The program will help 1,000 orphans in different places like Amman, Zarqa, Mafraq, Irbid, Ajloun, Jerash, Balqa, Madaba, and Aqaba. These orphans will include Syrian refugees as well as members of the host community.
