RIYADH: On Tuesday, Prince Saud bin Naif, the governor of the Eastern Province, officially opened the Women’s Economic Forum in Dammam. With an emphasis on the women’s business sector, the event is produced by the Asharqia Chamber through its Women’s Empowerment Center and attracts a wide range of specialists, officials, academics, and professionals. According to the Saudi Press Agency, Prince Saud emphasized the Saudi leadership’s dedication to promoting women in a variety of fields.
He underlined the significance of economic initiatives aimed at boosting women’s economic contributions to the country. Badr Al-Rizaiza, the chamber’s chairman, gave the governor an update on the forum’s goals and the main projects promoting the empowerment of Saudi women. Four sessions of the discussion looked at how Saudi women’s roles are changing in light of Vision 2030.
Women’s contributions to the aims of Vision 2030, possibilities in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, corporate sustainability tactics, and the value of training in preparing women for leadership positions were among the topics covered. The event will hold four sessions on Wednesday that will cover important topics like tourist entrepreneurship and the Dhahran Techno Valley system and its support for entrepreneurship.
