Holy City Hotels Prepare For Ramadan

Holy City Hotels Prepare For Ramadan

Jeddah: In anticipation of the arrival of millions of pilgrims, hotels in Makkah and Madinah are decked out with decorations, providing visitors with an up-close look into Saudi culture throughout the month of Ramadan. “Ramadan in Saudi Arabia is truly unique,” stated Mohammed Haris, an Indian who makes it a point to spend the holy month in Makkah and Madinah each year. Nowhere else in the world can compare to the spirit and vibe here.

“Over the years, I’ve seen improvements (in the hotels), and I always choose to stay near the holy sites.” “Hotels are always working to make visitors feel welcome so they can concentrate on their spirituality and prayers.” The Prophet’s Mosque is next to the Elaf Al Taqwa Hotel in Madinah, making prayer convenient.

For Ramadan, the hotel has launched a number of special services, such as daily azan calls, dua recitations played throughout the hotel, and a carefully planned menu for iftar and sahoor that features both foreign and traditional Saudi cuisine. “Our goal is to create a spiritually uplifting environment in which guests feel at home while experiencing the essence of Ramadan in the heart of Madinah,” stated Hussain Rauff, the hotel’s general manager.
