The Governor of Qassim Unveils $53 Million in Energy, Health, and Municipal Projects

RIYADH: Qassim’s governor, Prince Faisal bin Mishaal, launched more than SR200 million ($53 million) in health, municipal, energy, and charitable projects in the Al-Bukayriyah governorate. As reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday, he said that these projects demonstrate the leadership’s resolute support for development initiatives and improved services for people and communities.

In order to create a safe and lively urban environment, Prince Faisal emphasized efforts to improve municipal initiatives, increase access to healthcare and social services, and upgrade infrastructure. He praised all the civil and governmental organizations who were engaged.

The mayor of Al-Bukayriyah claims that the more than SR140 million municipal projects, which include roads, streets, public squares, parks, and pedestrian walkways, are intended to enhance the urban landscape and infrastructure.

Prince Faisal commended local municipalities and the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, emphasizing the necessity of carrying on with high-caliber initiatives that benefit the public and promote all-encompassing development. As part of the governorate building’s efforts to embrace renewable energy and boost efficiency in government buildings, he officially opened the second phase of a solar energy project.
