How HRDF’s 2025 Achievements Could Transform Saudi Employment

RIYADH: The Human Resources Development Fund said that in 2025, its programs helped more than 562,000 Saudis secure jobs in the private sector, a 29% increase from 2024. This was the highest number of jobs and training support the fund has ever provided.

It also showed that more than SR8.29 billion ($2.21 billion) was spent on training, empowerment, and mentorship initiatives in the same year, helping more than 2 million Saudi people. This investment has made professionals better prepared for work and ensured that the workforce’s skills are more aligned with the needs of new and fast-growing sectors.

On this occasion, HRDF Director General Turki Al-Jawini underscored the fund’s continued commitment to developing and expanding its programs to promote sustainable employment and increase the productivity of national talent.

He said, “The steady rise in the number of beneficiaries shows that the fund’s strategic transformation to maximise economic and social impact has worked.” He also said that the growth proves that the organization is a strategic pillar in building national capabilities.

The top official said, “This helps build a diverse and sustainable knowledge-based economy.” He added that these initiatives are backed by cutting-edge digital infrastructure and strategic alliances that make Saudi residents more competitive both domestically and globally.
