Water Desalination Plant to be Installed at Mogadishu hospital by KSrelief

RIYADH: On Monday, KSrelief, a Saudi Arabian humanitarian organisation, signed a contract to establish a water desalination plant at the kidney dialysis facility of Banadir Hospital in Mogadishu.There will be 270 beneficiaries of the initiative in the capital of Somalia. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, Assistant Supervisor-General of Operations and Programmes at KSrelief, signed the agreement at the center’s Riyadh headquarters.

In other news, 5,85 shelter bags were given out by KSrelief on Saturday to 4,095 families in the flood-affected areas of Pakistan’s Balochistan province’s Gwadar district.

The initiative is a part of KSrelief’s third phase of assistance for Pakistan’s most vulnerable citizens.On Monday, the kidney dialysis centre of Banadir Hospital in Mogadishu and the Saudi Arabian humanitarian organisation KSrelief signed an agreement for the installation of a water desalination plant.

270 people will gain from the initiative in the capital of Somalia. Additionally, 9,497 food baskets were given out by KSrelief on Saturday to displaced families in the northern Sudan, helping 5,497 people. This pertains to the second stage of KSrelief’s nationwide initiative to increase food security.
