RIYADH: Following the Sunday helicopter crash deaths of Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and President Ebrahim Raisi, the Kingdom’s solidarity with Iran and its people was conveyed by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan. The aircraft carrying the Iranian president, foreign minister, and seven other people went down on Sunday in a remote region of northwest Iran.
Prince Faisal conveyed his condolences for the passing of the president and his delegation during a phone conversation with Iran’s acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani on Monday.
When the aircraft carrying Raisi, 63, went down on Sunday in a remote region of northwest Iran, the wreckage wasn’t discovered until Monday morning. Raisi, his foreign minister, and seven other people perished in the incident.
