A Saudi Minister Examines Important Medical Facilities in Makkah

MAKKAH: To make sure they continue to offer top-notch medical care during the busiest Umrah season in Ramadan, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel visited a number of healthcare facilities in Makkah.

Al-Jalajel went to the Al-Haram Emergency Centres, Jiwar Medical Services Centre, and Ajyad Emergency Hospital, which specialises in emergency and critical treatment. The Saudi Press Agency said on Tuesday that he examined every service to ensure that critical situations were handled quickly.

Al-Jalajel stated that providing pilgrims with complete medical treatment was a primary goal of his ministry. He emphasised the ministry’s ongoing initiatives to guarantee medical facilities’ preparedness and the integration of healthcare services during the Hajj and Ramadan seasons.

According to the SPA, this reflects the leadership’s dedication to this industry and is in line with Vision 2030’s objectives, which centre on improving the effectiveness and quality of healthcare services. The Saudi Red Crescent Authority has made two helipads available for emergency medical evacuations on the grounds of Makkah’s Grand Mosque.
