According to an Official, the Asir Region Will Transition From the Planning Stage to Delivery in 2025

RIYADH: According to a senior official, the Asir region of Saudi Arabia is expected to move from the planning stage to the implementation stage in 2025. Among the key projects that are expected to be completed is the Seven Entertainment Complex. Hashem Al-Dabbagh, the acting CEO of the Asir Development Authority, told Arab News on the sidelines of the second day of the third Saudi Tourism Forum, which took place in Riyadh from January 7 to 9, that the organization is collaborating with a number of parties to make sure that the ongoing projects move forward this year.

This is consistent with the authority’s goal of drawing in about 8 million visitors by 2030. It also fits in nicely with the organization’s objective of making the area a world-class tourist attraction. “2025 is a very exciting year for a number of reasons,” stated Al-Dabbagh. Perhaps the first is the completion of the Seven Entertainment Complex by the airport, the first significant project, in 2025. Although we started other projects, this is the first that should be finished this year. We are therefore rather thrilled about that.

“A lot of our ongoing projects that are related to the planning of the Asir region should be finished by 2025,” he continued. Therefore, it’s good to see that this year we’ve moved from planning and ideation to real investment and execution. The interim CEO emphasized that the authority has been actively collaborating with all Saudi Arabian counterparts for the last three years.
