Aid is Sent to Syria, Yemen, and Lebanon by KSrelief

RIYADH: The Saudi Press Agency said on Wednesday that thousands of food parcels have been handed to some of the most vulnerable individuals in the world by the Saudi charitable organisation KSrelief. As part of the Etaam Ramadan food project in Syria, 170 packages were given to needy families in the governorate of Rif Dimashq. 9,100 people benefited from KSrelief’s distribution of 1,300 baskets to needy populations in the Marib governorate’s Al-Wadi area. 1,188 parcels were distributed to individuals with impairments in the governorate of Aden.

160,812 people are benefited by the Etaam initiative in Yemen, which focusses on displaced persons, those in the greatest need, and those with disabilities in Aden, Hadramout, Marib, Al-Mahra, Shabwah, and Hajjah. At a cost of more than SR67 million ($17.8 million), the Etaam project, which is currently in its fourth phase, intends to provide more than 390,000 food boxes in 27 countries during Ramadan, helping 2.3 million individuals.

Furthermore, 2,820 persons benefited from the distribution of 564 food baskets by KSrelief to those in need in Deir Ammar, northern Lebanon. KSrelief helped 4,818 people in Syria by delivering food baskets and hygiene kits to 803 families in Harem.
