During Hajj, AI-Enhanced Visual Medical Services Proved Beneficial

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Interior successfully tested a cutting-edge visual medical service on security officers during this year’s Hajj season.

The service performs workplace medical examinations in six minutes or less using a capsule upgraded with artificial intelligence and contemporary communication technology.

According to a report from the General Administration of Medical Services within the ministry, the capsule was able to perform 26 physiological measurements, the most critical of which were blood pressure, temperature, oxygen levels, energy requirements, heart rate, and heart rate variability, along with height and weight, body and muscle mass, and blood pressure.

After the built-in AI system analyzes each person’s health status data, a doctor can be consulted remotely. The Wasfaty method is then used to prescribe any necessary drugs.

The service offers a secure, private setting for workplace health exams and medical consultations, which lessens the need for trips to hospitals or health care facilities.

Currently, the ministry of interior and the presidency of state security are covered by the service.
