RIYADH: The Museums Commission will hold the International Conference for Education and Innovation in Museums in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from June 1 to 3.
On Tuesday, the Saudi Press Agency said that the conference will include talks on the newest innovations and trends in museum education, with sessions led by local and international experts.
In addition to participating in workshops, seminars, and research discussions, attendees can explore cutting-edge modern technologies like virtual and augmented reality.
For the purpose of maintaining cultural legacy and promoting national identity, museums are essential. According to the SPA, there have been notable advancements in museology in recent years, with an emphasis on community development, diversity, and inclusion.
Participants can take part in workshops, seminars, and research discussions while also exploring cutting-edge, contemporary technologies like virtual and augmented reality.
The purpose of this conference is to present the Kingdom’s cultural legacy, promote partnerships in the industry, support international museum studies, and enable knowledge exchange.
The Saudi Press Agency said on Tuesday that talks at the conference on the newest innovations and trends in museum education will be facilitated by both domestic and foreign specialists.
