RIYADH: A top Saudi official says international cooperation is essential to addressing economic and social issues, particularly given the current global situation.
During the two-day World Economic Forum Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth, and Energy for Development that ended on Monday in Riyadh, Vice Minister of Economy and Planning for the Kingdom, Ammar Nagadi, talked to Arab News on the sidelines. He discussed the significance of these types of events in promoting economic cooperation to tackle global issues. According to him, we live in a “unique” time when human growth is at a pivotal point and international financial and social issues are present.
As a result, international cooperation and world gatherings are becoming increasingly crucial, according to Nagadi. The World Economic Forum special meeting continues that process,” he continued. Over the last few years, Saudi Arabia has become a platform that brings together people from different parts of the world to discuss challenges and address these challenges.”
“Today, over a thousand leaders from various sectors are present at the meeting.” We have heads of state, executives from public and commercial sectors, and businesspeople from over 70 nations.
