RIYADH: According to a LinkedIn report, the Kingdom’s top workplace is the Saudi telecom company STC Group, with energy behemoth Aramco coming in second. According to a press release, the airline giant Emirates came in second place and Boston Consulting Group was awarded the greatest workplace in the United Arab Emirates. According to the report, more over one-third of the businesses on the lists in the Kingdom and the UAE are either tech- or major-focused.
The business-centered social network claims that the organizations’ high ranking demonstrates their commitment to assisting workers in establishing and securing long-term jobs in a workplace that is changing quickly. “With 14 different industries appearing on the top companies lists in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, this year’s list highlights the diverse business landscape in the region,” said Nabila Rahhal, editor at LinkedIn.
“The rankings demonstrate the range of opportunities available and the region’s ongoing evolution as a thriving hub for innovation, investment, and talent development, spanning from technology and finance to retail and energy,” she stated. The company’s February announcement that its 2024 net profit was SR24.7 billion ($6.58 billion), an 86 percent increase over 2023, confirmed STC’s dominance in the Saudi market. The Saudi Central Bank, or SAMA, granted STC Bank, the banking division of the STC Group, a non-objection certificate in January so that it could start doing business in the Kingdom.
