Men and Women Worshippers are Expected to Visit Hijr Ismail at a Specific Hour

MAKKAH — The Hijr Ismail or Hateem near the Holy Kaaba in Makkah has designated particular times for men and women worshippers to attend, according to the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques. The authority states that each visitor will be permitted to stay in the facility for a maximum of ten minutes.

Men are allowed entrance from eight in the morning until eleven in the morning, while women are allowed entry from eight in the evening until two in the morning, according to the authority. The western gate that is assigned to this area will be the entrance to Hateem.

On the north side of the Kaaba is a semicircular building called Hijr Ismail or Hateem that resembles a low wall. Since the area between the Kaaba and the Hateem was once part of the Kaaba itself, it was originally a portion of the Kaaba.

In order to guarantee easy mobility and the best possible planning of the visit, the authority emphasized how crucial it is that guests follow the directions and designated admission hours. These initiatives are part of the authority’s desire to give God’s visitors the greatest services possible and to offer a special spiritual experience close to the Holy Kaaba.
