Noor Riyadh 2025: Artists Announced for the Spectacular Festival of Light and Art

Riyadh is getting ready to host Noor Riyadh, the region’s largest international festival of light and art, from November 20 to December 6, 2025. The organizers have revealed a diverse lineup of artists and artworks for this year’s event, which will shine a spotlight on creativity from across the globe.

The festival, curated by Mami Kataoka, Li Zhenhua, and Sara Almutlaq, will transform key locations around Riyadh with 60 pieces created by 59 artists from 24 different countries. This includes 35 brand-new commissioned works, demonstrating the festival’s commitment to innovation and new ideas.

Nouf Almoneef, director of Noor Riyadh, highlights the artists, saying they embody bold vision and fresh perspectives. “Their creations capture Riyadh’s dynamic energy through the magic of light, and show how art can unite people from different backgrounds,” Almoneef says.

This year’s theme, “In the Blink of an Eye,” reflects the city’s rapid changes and growth. Visitors will see how artists respond to this theme, with stunning installations by both international and Saudi names like Saad Al-Howede, Monira Al-Qadiri, Abdulrahman Al-Soliman, James Clar, Ivana Franke, fuse*, Ayoung Kim, Shinji Ohmaki, Michelangelo Pistoletto, and Muhannad Shono.
