Saudi Officials Meet With the UK's Africa and Development Minister.

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed Elkhereiji met with UK Minister of State for Development and Africa Andrew Mitchell in Riyadh on Tuesday.

According to the foreign ministry, the two sides discussed topics of common interest and ways to strengthen bilateral relations. Neil Crompton, the UK Ambassador to the Kingdom, also attended the meeting. Elkhereiji also spoke with Sarah Montgomery, the British Special Envoy to the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa, and her delegation. The two sides discussed major regional and international developments.

Adel Al-Jubeir, Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Envoy for Climate Affairs, also met with Mitchell at the ministry’s Riyadh office to discuss various regional and international issues of mutual concern. Mitchell is also scheduled to meet with the CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, Sultan Al Marshad, Assistant Finance Minister, and G20 Sherpa Abdulmuhsen Al Khalaf. Waleed Elkhereiji, Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister, meets with Sarah Montgomery, British Special Envoy for the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa. According to the foreign ministry, the two sides discussed common interests and ways to strengthen bilateral relations. The UK’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, Neil Crompton, also attended the meeting.
