The Saudi Space Agency Invites college Students to Enter a satellite design Competition

RIYADH: According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Space Agency announced Thursday that the Sari competition for undergraduate students at all of the Kingdom’s universities would begin.

To foster a generation of space technology experts and boost creativity and competitive spirit in the space industry, participants will be asked to design, construct, and launch miniature satellites.

The competition’s primary objectives, according to SPA, are to promote scientific research and experiments, provide chances for satellite design and development, establish an academically stimulating atmosphere that promotes university innovation, and refine technical and engineering abilities in the space sciences.

Space imaging, data analysis, navigation applications, Internet of Things programming, and technological research are just a few of the practical uses for the satellites that Sari has designed.

By bringing in a small group of advising specialists, creating rigorous training curricula, and holding workshops to advance technical and engineering skills, the Saudi Space Agency will give participants a thorough educational foundation, according to SPA.
