The UAE Advisory Parliament's Speaker and The Lebanese Prime Minister Spoke About Regional Concerns

In February, Saqr Ghobash congratulated Nawaf Salam on the formation of a Lebanese government. Salam commended the UAE for fostering prosperity and stability in the region. LONDON: On Thursday, Saqr Ghobash, the speaker of the UAE Federal National Council, spoke with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on the close ties between Abu Dhabi and Beirut. During his official visit to Lebanon, Ghobash conveyed the Emirati leadership’s hopes for the country’s sustained growth, prosperity, and advancement to the people of Lebanon, according to the Emirates News Agency.

According to WAM, Salam and Ghobash also shared opinions on a number of regional and global topics of shared concern and talked about methods to deepen and broaden collaboration in a range of cultural, economic, and humanitarian domains. Ghobash reiterated the UAE’s steadfast support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, stability, and progress while congratulating Salam on the formation of a Lebanese government in February. According to him, the UAE is dedicated to giving the Lebanese people continuous assistance. According to WAM, Salam thanked the UAE for its unwavering support of Lebanon during these trying times and commended it for fostering stability and growth throughout the region.
