A new agreement between India’s Adani Defense and Aerospace and UAE-based defense and advanced technology company EDGE Group centers on cyber warfare, drones, and weapons research.
A partnership deal between the two companies will see cooperation in important product categories like air defense systems, missiles, and conventional and smart weaponry.
As per the press release, the objective is to establish an international platform that capitalizes on the defense and aerospace expertise of both organizations, merging their offerings to cater to both domestic and global clientele.
Drones, manned and unmanned ground vehicles, cyber technologies, and electronic warfare are some areas where collaboration is planned.
The agreement included the establishment of defense and aerospace solution development, production, and maintenance facilities in the United Arab Emirates and India, as well as research and development facilities.
“This joint agreement with Adani Defence and Aerospace is a significant achievement that strengthens the bilateral defense relationship between India and the UAE,” stated Hamad Al-Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE Group.
