The Saudi aid agency KSrelief iscontinues to extend its humanitarian efforts across the globe providing essential support to vulnerable communities. In Riyadh KSrelief signed a cooperation agreement with a civil society organization to the enhance sustainable access to clean water for residents in Taiz Yemen.
The initiative includes drilling three artesian wells each is about 400 meters deep and equipping them with submersible pumps, necessary accessories, and solar-powered systems. Solar units will also be installed to run three existing wells. Additionally the project will conduct awareness campaigns on water conservation hygiene, and pollution prevention.
In Sudan’s Khartoum State KSrelief distributed 800 food parcels under the Madad project, benefiting 5,239 people. The agency’s efforts also reached Nigeria, where nine medical volunteers screened 32,262 children for eye conditions and distributed 1,651 pairs of glasses. Elsewhere, KSrelief provided 500 food baskets to 3,000 vulnerable individuals in the Chad and distributed food supplies to 975 underprivileged families in Syria’s Latakia governorate.
To further relations, a Syrian Awqaf minister meets with the head of the Muslim World League in Jeddah. The head of an Arab organization and the governor of Najran talk about increasing regional tourism.
