RIYADH: Alfaisal University in Riyadh hosted its annual Health Promotion Project Exhibition on Thursday, when first-year medical students displayed a range of creative ideas. An AI-powered wellness environment, patient safety, cancer education, and the integration of digital health technology were among the subjects of the projects, which had the theme “Future Outlook 2040.”
According to Zaid Alsawawy, a student taking part in the health expo, the exhibition gave students a stage on which to showcase their research and solutions pertaining to important public health problems that are in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
“Saudi Arabia’s healthcare is among the best in the world, but it can be better,” he stated. Due to its inadequate integration of environmental change, the current healthcare system is under stress. By proposing a bridge between the medical field and the environmental sector, we hope to eradicate this.
Dr. Baraa Alghalyini, the head of the family medicine department at Alfaisal University, vice dean of the college of medicine, and founder of the annual health promotion project, thanked Princess Maha Al-Saud, vice president of external relations and advancement at the university, and Dr. Mohammed Alhayaza, president of the university.
