How a New Agreement Is Set to Boost the Saudi Music Sector

RIYADH: Steinway & Sons, a piano manufacturer, and the Saudi Music Commission, one of the Ministry of Culture’s eleven sector-specific commissions, have reached an agreement. The agreement intends to strengthen and quicken the Saudi music industry’s growth and professionalization.

Paul Pacifico, CEO of the Saudi Music Commission, and Guido Zimmermann, president of Steinway & Sons EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), sealed the deal in Riyadh. Both organizations will work together to develop professional training, empower talent, and increase access to top-notch musical instruments.

In addition to advancing creative and educational goals, the relationship will lay the groundwork for important corporate investments and commercial alliances in the Kingdom’s music industry. The Music Commission’s ongoing involvement in promoting sustainable growth is seen in these initiatives.

The Saudi Music Commission and Steinway & Sons will work together to create piano technician apprenticeship programs, allow for joint participation in Music Commission events and initiatives, and establish connections with Saudi Arabia’s cultural, educational, and retail partners.

This agreement with Steinway & Sons is a landmark in our mission to further inspire musical talent across Saudi Arabia,” Pacifico stated. We are building a lasting foundation for performance, education, and craftsmanship by fusing local ingenuity with international expertise.
