JEDDAH/RIYADH: As Ramadan gets closer, Saudi Arabia’s hotel industry is getting ready to provide locals and guests special iftar and sahoor experiences. The Kingdom has a lot of places that commemorate the season, from fancy seafront restaurants to Ramadan tents inspired by its history.
Maritime is on the shore of Jeddah and offers a waterfront Ramadan experience with iftar starting at sunset, live culinary stations, and entertainment in the evening. The goal of the offering is to bring people together through participatory cooking demonstrations and eating together. The cost of Iftar is SR450 ($120) per person.
Maritime sahoor is a laid-back place to hang out at night that focuses on food and conversation. The cost of Sahoor is SR250 per person In the meanwhile, an open-air venue The Roof is a special sahoor experience with a carefully chosen menu served outside under the stars.
Shangri-La Jeddah is located on the northern coast of Jeddah and offers a variety of Ramadan dining options that combine high-end service with local flavours. ALFOLK has a stylish environment inspired by the Red Sea with a sailing motif for both small and large parties, with space for groups of 50 to 500 people.
