How UAE Became One of the Leading Global AI Hubs in AI Index 2026

According to the most recent AI Index Report 2026 published by Stanford University’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI), the UAE has been acknowledged as a major global hub for AI.

The UAE is among the top nations in institutional support for AI strategy, awareness, and governance, according to the research, which also noted the country’s excellent performance in skills, jobs, adoption, and talent across international benchmarks. Along with Singapore, the UAE consistently ranks highly worldwide for AI capabilities and exhibits strong AI adoption that surpasses expectations relative to GDP per capita.

According to the survey, over 80% of workers in the UAE regularly use AI in the workplace with high levels of trust, and the nation is among the fastest-growing in the world in AI engineering skills, with technical expertise development outpacing general awareness.

According to the survey, the UAE ranked favorably in terms of net talent inflow at almost 4.40 per 10,000 LinkedIn members, and the concentration of AI talent there expanded by more than 100% between 2019 and 2025. The UAE is among the world leaders in demand for AI workers, as evidenced by the fact that AI-related job ads made up about 2.87 percent of all job listings in 2025.
