RIYADH: Saudi Arabia is establishing itself not just as a player in the global race to create advanced robotics, but also as a quick mover in the large-scale deployment of humanoid technology. In collaboration with the UK-based company Humanoid, QSS AI and Robotics, a Saudi company specializing in robotics, artificial intelligence, and new technologies, established the Humanoid Lounge, a robotics showroom that demonstrates how this momentum is translating into tangible economic and social impacts.
Elie Metri, CEO and executive board member of QSS AI and robots, told Arab News, “What we’ve built at QSS AI and Robotics goes far beyond a showroom; it’s a working environment that demonstrates how robotics is actively transforming real-world operations across the Kingdom.
QSS AI and Robotics has made a significant contribution to Saudi Arabia’s automation aspirations. The company creates humanoid robots locally, such as Sara, and uses integrated robotic systems in commercial spaces, operational environments, and significant events.
Its partner, Humanoid, supports the development of interactive, human-centric robots for customer interaction and service-oriented tasks by providing global expertise in cutting-edge AI and humanoid technology.
