Google Enhances Chrome with Advanced Gemini AI Tools

As part of its ongoing efforts to highlight its cutting-edge technology to consumers, Google has announced it will add more Gemini AI features to Chrome.
The image creation tool Nano Banana, Google’s “Personal Intelligence” feature, and “Auto browse,” an agentic AI tool that enables users to instruct the browser to carry out a variety of tasks across the web with a single request, are among the Gemini-powered capabilities. Additionally, Google is releasing a new Chrome design featuring a right-side panel that lets users access the Gemini chatbot while browsing.

In a blog post, Parisa Tabriz, Vice President of Chrome, stated, “Our testers have used it for a ton of time saved: scheduling appointments, filling out tedious online forms, collecting their tax documents, getting quotes for plumbers and electricians, checking if their bills are paid, filing expense reports, managing their subscriptions, and speeding up renewing their driving licenses.

The new features also demonstrate Google’s efforts to provide consumers with a more customized Chrome browser. Google introduced the customized “Personal Intelligence” option in the Gemini app earlier this month. To give consumers individualized responses in the Gemini chatbot, the functionality integrates data from apps like Gmail and Google Photos.

The upgrades also demonstrate the company’s efforts to fulfill Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis’s goal of creating a “universal assistant,” which he defines as a helper that can plan and carry out tasks on a user’s behalf across any device.
