JERUSALEM: As the United States renewed its attacks, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed confidence on Thursday that Iran’s Islamic republic may soon fall, claiming it was weaker than ever. At the moment, this regime is in danger. It is now weaker than before. At a gathering with Israeli military officers, Netanyahu declared, “It is fighting for its survival.”
I firmly believe that we can completely eliminate this menace by toppling this government. That is the main duty that we still have to complete, but it is getting close. It’s not insurmountable. It’s accessible,” he remarked . Although President Donald Trump abruptly declared a ceasefire in April, Netanyahu began a joint strike on Iran with the United States in late February after decades of characterising Iran’s cleric-run regime as an existential threat.
Iran has retaliated against US allies in the Gulf, Jordan, and Iraq’s autonomous Kurdistan region, but not Israel, as a result of increased economic pressure and strikes by the US this week. It’s not by accident if they’re not attacking us. Netanyahu declared, “They attack everyone, but not us.”
“They are aware of our strength, our resolve, and our power. Netanyahu’s comments coincide with opposition leaders accusing him of failing on Iran and with certain polls showing him trailing in the national elections scheduled for October 27.
