RIYADH: To build national cloud computing knowledge and give participants advanced AWS capabilities, the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services, has created the AWS Builder Accelerator program. According to a Monday Saudi Press Agency story, the program provides a rigorous four-week training curriculum at AWS’ headquarters in Virginia, US, combining classroom instruction with practical projects supervised by AWS specialists.
In order to obtain real-world experience and obtain recognized certifications, participants will work on actual cloud computing projects. According to the SPA, these abilities will improve national talent’s ability to adjust to technological advancements and help meet market expectations.
In order to increase their competitiveness in the cloud computing industry, the program targets recent graduates with two to three years of experience in technical subjects, especially computer science and information technology. The initiative, which is scheduled to start on June 16, requires candidates to be Saudi nationals working in the private sector. The ministry’s website states that upon final acceptance, a letter of employer approval is required.
