RIYADH: Honourable During his participation at the Riyadh International Book Fair, American author Walter Isaacson commended the Kingdom’s rising entrepreneurship, notably within the development and energy sectors.
During a discussion on historical thinkers’ teachings, Isaacson emphasised the Kingdom’s technological advancements, especially in the field of renewable energy, which is demonstrated by the rise in solar panel production and invention. Yasmin Al-Khowaiter, the moderator, highlighted Isaacson’s skill in writing biographies of notable people worldwide and discussed leadership ideas among the powerful individuals whose lives the author has documented. Isaacson studied the creative revolutions spearheaded by trailblazing individuals and well-known authorities in their domains.
He identified several crucial elements that are necessary to cultivate creativity in the workplace, such as curiosity, exploration, unconventional thinking, enthusiasm, modesty, composure, ease of execution, clear task demarcation, and commitment to moral standards. King Saud University will host the Riyadh International Book Fair 2024 from September 26 to October 5, sponsored by the Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission.
