At The Storytellers Event, The Saudi Fund Honors Cultural Innovation

Riyadh: Key officials, cultural leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators from a range of artistic areas came together for the third annual Storytellers event, which was organized by the Cultural Development Fund in Riyadh. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the meeting is a component of the fund’s initiatives to fortify links, investigate fresh prospects, and bolster the industry’s momentum.

Majed Al-Hugail, the CEO of the fund, gave the keynote address. Then, officials from the Elite Chefs Center, which runs the CHEFPreneur program, one of the projects the fund supports, spoke. The curriculum gives ambitious chefs the culinary know-how and commercial acumen they need to start their own ventures and build successful companies.

42 program graduates who have finished their training were also honored during the event. As part of its dedication to assisting enabled projects, the fund displayed a number of beneficiary projects so that visitors may see their innovative products up close. Cultural events in line with the Year of Handicrafts 2025 were part of the event. While a unique art display featured pieces by visual artist and craftswoman Naifah Al-Shahrani, guests participated in traditional crafts like henna art and prayer bead-making. With vivid colors and elaborate embellishments, the show celebrated the rich legacy of southern Saudi Arabia, drawing inspiration from the traditional Al-Qatt Al-Asiri.
