Flydubai Adds two Destinations and Increases Service in Saudi Arabia

The airline Flydubai, situated in Dubai, has declared today that it will offer flights to two locations within Saudi Arabia. This includes the commencement of operations to Red Sea International and the return of flights to Al Jouf.

Beginning on April 18, flights from Terminal 2, Dubai International (DXB), will go twice a week to Al Jouf Airport (AJF) and Red Sea International Airport (RSI).

Flydubai operates a modern, effective fleet of 86 Boeing 737 aircraft, serving a network of 129 destinations in 58 countries. At the beginning of 2024, the airline began operations to Langkawi, Mombasa, and Penang. Later in the year, the airline plans to begin flights to Basel, Riga, Sochi, Tallinn, and Vilnius.

“Flydubai becomes the first carrier to operate to Red Sea International from the UAE, offering passengers direct access to Saudi Arabia’s resorts at The Red Sea destination,” stated Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president of Flydubai’s commercial operations (UAE, GCC, Subcontinent, and Africa). This demonstrates our dedication to expanding into underdeveloped communities and strengthening the connections between the areas we serve and Dubai’s aviation center.”

We are committed to providing exceptional services to passengers and airlines alike. We look forward to further expanding our network to serve The Red Sea and travelers from around the world.”
