95% of the first-half targets for UAE private sector Emiratization were met. Over 190,000 Emiratis were employed nationwide in almost 32,000 businesses. On July 20, 2026, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization released the findings. The figures include businesses covered by federal Emiratization policies through June 30, 2026. Employers with 50 or more employees are required to increase the number of Emiratis in skilled positions by 2% annually.
Each half of the delivery is divided into 1% increments. A chosen company with 20–49 employees must hire one UAE national, and current Emirati employees must be retained. Through the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan promotes the national agenda. Sheikh Mansour holds the positions of Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Court Chairman, and Council Chairman.
In the private sector, about 32,000 businesses employ UAE nationals. Alongside the 95% goal completion rate among regulated enterprises, employer coverage has grown. MoHRE will continue to communicate directly with businesses, according to Al Khoori. Target delivery, long-term employment, and career options in line with labor market need are all covered by ministry support.
MoHRE’s Undersecretary of Labour Market and Emiratization Operations, Khalil Al Khoori, connected the outcomes to increased corporate dedication. Private employers are using more national talent in a variety of industries.
