With a number of new tools intended for announcements, choices, and minor side debates, WhatsApp is simplifying the management of hectic group conversations. With just one mention, a user can alert every member of a group thanks to the @all headline. It eliminates the need to tag people individually and is used for urgent notifications like office closures, event deadlines, or last-minute modifications.
Three helpful improvements are also being made to polls. When a group requires more private answers, creators can now conceal voter names and designate an end time after which voting automatically ends. Additionally, poll questions can be updated for up to 15 minutes after they are posted, allowing for the correction of typos and the clarification of unclear language without having to start again.
Creating a new group from an existing conversation is now quicker thanks to the third update. Instead of manually adding each participant, users can choose people from the current chat by using the Create a similar group option. According to WhatsApp, it might be helpful for dividing a project team, organizing a surprise, or shifting an off-topic conversation away from the main group. Meta’s messaging app is now introducing these features. Since software updates are frequently released gradually, they might not show up for every Android and iPhone user right away.
