In Washington, The Saudi FM Meets With The US Counterpart

The diplomats talked on improving cooperation and coordination on regional and global challenges, such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Yemen, Sudan, and the Gaza Strip. At the White House in Riyadh, Prince Faisal also had a meeting with US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in the US capital on Wednesday.

The diplomats talked about strengthening cooperation and coordination on regional and global concerns, including as the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Yemen, Sudan, and Gaza Strip developments. Along with initiatives to promote global peace and security, they also discussed ways to improve bilateral strategic connections and opportunities in a number of areas. The conference was attended by Saudi ambassador to the United States Princess Reema bint Bandar.

At the White House in Washington, D.C., Prince Faisal also had a meeting with Michael Waltz, the US National Security Advisor. According to SPA, the two officials examined potential areas of collaboration, assessed the strategic Saudi-American relationship, and talked about measures to strengthen it. According to the report, they also talked about a variety of problems and subjects that they both found interesting.

Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al-Farhan, the Foreign Minister for Political Affairs’ advisor, and Princess Reema were also present at the meeting. Tuesday marked Prince Faisal’s official arrival in the United States.
