KSrelief Provides 384 Food Baskets to Afghan Communities in Need

NANGARHAR: Recently, 384 people in the districts of Hisarak and Behsud-e-Ajjam in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar Province received food baskets from Saudi assistance organization KSrelief, which helped 2,304 returning migrants from Pakistan.

The aid was given as part of the organization’s Food Security and Emergency Support Project in Afghanistan and is a component of the Kingdom’s continuous relief and humanitarian efforts to aid impacted and vulnerable people worldwide.

As part of the Mudad Sudan Project for 2026, 1,050 displaced Sudanese families returning from South Sudan also received food baskets. In light of the ongoing humanitarian crisis, this is a component of the Kingdom’s efforts to lessen the suffering of the Sudanese people.

The Sudan Armed Forces and Rapid Support Forces have been engaged in combat since April 2023, and the southern Kordofan region of the country is now seeing some of the greatest fighting. The assistance is a component of Afghanistan’s 2025 Food Security and Emergency Project. This program is a part of the Kingdom’s continuous efforts to support and lessen the suffering of the Afghan people through KSrelief.
