RIYADH: The Saudi Development and Reconstruction event for Yemen, in collaboration with the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission, organized a two-day training event in Aden governorate for professionals from the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Technology.
The program, which involved 44 trainees, contained specialized modules taught by commission experts. It sought to improve participants’ technical and administrative skills, as well as their understanding of current practices and technologies in the communications and information technology sectors.
It was part of a larger endeavor to strengthen institutional capacity and enhance Yemeni national skills. It also attempted to strengthen the communications and information technology sector’s performance, service quality, and readiness to keep up with rapid technological advances. Saudi development projects and initiatives have also helped to economically empower women, youth, and local communities, as well as promote human capital investment.
These efforts include the “Building the Future for Yemeni Youth” program, projects that assist livelihoods in disadvantaged communities, and attempts to improve the capacities of transportation sector staff.The program sought to strengthen participants’ technical and administrative skills, as well as their understanding of the most recent techniques and technologies in the communications and information technology sectors.
