SAL and Royal Commission Collaborate to Improve Jazan's Air Freight and Logistics

A new deal between SAL Logistics Services Co. and the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu is intended to bring enhanced operations management and air freight services to the Jazan region of Saudi Arabia.

According to a statement on X, the agreement aims to establish a more effective logistics network to promote the region’s industrial expansion by integrating multiple forms of transportation and connecting air and sea ports to Jazan City.

This action is in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which emphasizes infrastructural development and economic diversification for long-term industrial growth.

“This cooperation agreement represents a promising step in our mission to enhance the logistics infrastructure in the Kingdom,” stated SAL’s managing director and CEO, Faisal Al-Bedah.

“We are not only improving our services but also contributing to the broader economic development of the promising Jazan region by partnering with the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, represented by Jazan City Port Basic and Transformative Industries,” he continued.

The statement went on to say that the improvement of Jazan’s logistics infrastructure is anticipated to draw in new capital and bolster the region’s economy.
