December will See Riyadh Host the 19th Internet Governance Forum

The King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh will host the 19th Internet Governance Forum, which is being coordinated by the UN, in December.

This year’s event will focus on “building our multi-stakeholder digital future,” which includes conversations on internet-related public policy concerns, knowledge and experience sharing, and problem resolution.

The platform seeks to bring governments, businesses, and nonprofits together to agree on measures for more robust internet governance globally.

The fact that Saudi Arabia is hosting the event is a testament to its dedication to digital growth and its position as a pioneer in digital governance and information and communications technology. It highlights the Kingdom’s dedication to the UN’s sustainable development goals and establishes it as a major worldwide conference destination.

“Riyadh will host the Internet Governance Forum #IGF2024 to strengthen the Kingdom’s role as a regional hub for technology and innovation,” the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology stated on X. This occasion is a reflection of our mission to drive the development of a strong, secure digital infrastructure, sustainable solutions, and global digital transformation.
