Saudi Arabia Participates in the 2025 Doha International Book Fair

RIYADH: The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission is representing Saudi Arabia at the 34th Doha International Book Fair 2025, which will take place from May 8–17 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Representatives from the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives, the King Abdulaziz Public Library, Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, the King Fahd National Library, Nasher Publishing and Distribution Co., and the Publishing Association are among the notable literary and cultural figures who are part of the Saudi delegation, which is led by the commission.

The Saudi pavilion showcases various literary and artistic works that capture the Kingdom’s dynamic creative environment.

The CEO of the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, Dr. Abdullatif Al-Wasel, stressed that the Kingdom’s involvement in the Doha International Book Fair is a result of the close cultural links that exist between the Kingdom and Qatar.

He clarified that, in light of the thriving cultural movement and intellectual growth observed in the Kingdom and Qatar, the commission hopes to strengthen collaboration in the areas of literature, publishing, and translation through this involvement.
