JD Vance, US Vice President, stated to Fox News on Monday that President Donald Trump may reveal the agreement with Iran before Friday. The agreement was signed electronically by US and Iranian authorities and is scheduled to be inked in person on Friday.
Trump announced on Monday that an agreement with Iran had been signed. The language of the deal will be disclosed following a ceremonial signing on Friday. Additionally, the Strait of Hormuz will be fully open. During a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron, Trump expressed uncertainty about his attendance at the G7 summit in Geneva on Friday, but confirmed that Vice President Vance will be there.
It’s all signed. After arriving in Evian, France, Trump told reporters that the strait has already partially opened. Vance confirmed on Monday that the deal was signed digitally on Sunday and that no cash were released.
When asked when the memorandum of understanding would be made public, Trump responded, “Probably pretty soon.” I’d say sometime after Friday. “I believe sometime in the very near future.” Trump stated that any sanctions relaxation for Tehran was “truly a behavioral thing.” If they do what they are intended to do, it will begin to take effect.
