Saudi Arabia Reiterates its Humanitarian Assistance to the Impoverished, Displaced, and Refugees

On World Refugee Day, Saudi Arabia reiterated its resolve to bolster its assistance for refugees and internally displaced people worldwide, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

According to the Saudi humanitarian organization KSrelief, its aid “includes all countries of the world without discrimination.”

The organization was established in May 2025 and has since completed 2,984 projects in 99 nations as part of its ongoing efforts to aid the impoverished and those impacted by natural catastrophes and war.

KSrelief also supported those displaced in other countries by implementing 304 projects worth more than $2.19 billion,

The Kingdom hosts a large number of people from countries affected by war, with refugees from Yemen, Syria, and Myanmar alone constituting 5.5 percent of its population. With the latest General Authority for Statistics census citing a total population of 32,175 million, that places the number of refugees at over 1.76 million.

According to the SPA report, the tourists are given “the opportunity for free treatment and education,” and the Kingdom is eager for them to become a part of the community.

Saudi Arabia has long provided relief and humanitarian help. Salam, a nonprofit organization, reports that during the last forty years, over $115 billion has been spent in over ninety nations.
