Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) has released a statement informing its clients that maintenance has interrupted all of its financial services. However, it elected not to share information on the cause of the maintenance and when they expect services to be fully restored. ADCB did claim its technical staff were ‘working around the clock’ to rectify the issue, and apologised to consumers for any disruption caused by the repair.
ADCB also issued a caution to clients and encouraged them to check its official communication channels for future information on the restoration of services. The company did not identify which banking services were affected by the necessary maintenance.
It seems that the work being done by ADCB has affected its branches, ATMs, internet banking, and mobile banking. One of the biggest banks in the UAE, ADCB provides services to institutional, corporate, and retail clients nationwide. In January 2025, it announced ambitions to quadruple its profit to $4.5bn over the next five years.
