BURAIDAH: Qassim Gov. Prince Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud inaugurated on Thursday the Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mushaiqih Center for Scientific Research and Innovation, in Buraidah.
The facility, run by the General Administration of Education for the area, is expected to transform students’ abilities in scientific research. The centre covers various scientific disciplines, including computer engineering, biochemistry, robotics, artificial intelligence, and applied physics. It is outfitted with cutting-edge laboratories.
In addition, it has areas set aside for cutting-edge disciplines like space sciences, aviation, solar and renewable energy, project showcases, and digital manufacturing. The facility can accommodate 380 students. Mohammed Al-Fraih, the area’s director general of education, briefed the governor during his tour. The governor was excited about the center’s potential and emphasised how it can help students find their gifts and grow into their full potential.
He declared: “I am pleased with the accomplishments of our education department and their dedication to educating our children for the challenges of the future, especially in technology, space sciences, and specialised research.
