RIYADH: The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority has enhanced responsible artificial intelligence innovation in education through the AI Sandbox in Digital Learning program, sponsored by the National e-Learning Center.
The program forms part of SDAIA’s ongoing efforts to facilitate the appropriate use of AI across important industries, stated the Saudi Press Agency. By taking part in the evaluation process and offering participating teams technical and advisory help, SDAIA participated to all three stages of the project.
These initiatives improved the readiness of AI-based educational solutions for wider use by advancing them and testing them in secure, real-world settings. The Kingdom’s standing as a global leader in responsible educational innovation is further strengthened by the authority’s involvement, which reflects its role in encouraging the responsible use of AI and coordinating technology solutions with national priorities in education and digital transformation. International recognition has also been given to the initiative.
Saudi Arabia’s experience with AI in education has been documented by the World Bank, which confirms that the AISB initiative is a trailblazing national model for nations looking to promote responsible innovation and raise the standard of digital learning.
