To discuss regional developments and attempts to reduce tensions, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan spoke with his counterparts from Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain over the phone on Tuesday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the ministers emphasized the need to lessen the security and economic effects of the ongoing regional crisis while reiterating the significance of preserving freedom of navigation via the Straits of Hormuz and Bab El-Mandab.
The ministers expressed complete solidarity in addressing threats to the security and stability of nations in the region and denounced actions carried out by Iran and militias supported by Iran in Yemen and Iraq.
They stressed the significance of ongoing coordination and consultation among Gulf governments to deepen joint Gulf cooperation and support regional security and stability, and they opposed activities that jeopardize regional peace.
