Smart Travel Strategies UAE Residents Are Using This Eid Season

Many UAE citizens are approaching their vacation preparations with a tighter focus on value and budgeting as demand for holiday travel rises. This year, consumers’ travel plans are being impacted by rising gasoline prices, increased transportation costs, and general cost-of-living pressures, but not necessarily whether they travel at all.

Travel activity is predicted to increase seasonally during times like the impending Eid break, but industry insiders claim the change goes far beyond just celebratory travel. All year long, locals are prioritizing smarter reservations, shorter local vacations, flexible schedules, and more deliberate spending.

The increasing significance of advance planning is one of the most obvious themes this season. Travelers are booking sooner in order to gain lower rates and avoid last-minute fees as airfare and transportation prices fluctuate more quickly.

Residents may still travel comfortably despite increased expenses if they prepare more effectively, according to Alena Iakina, founder of visarun.ai. Even though fuel prices are rising, many UAE citizens still value travel. It’s still feasible with a little more preparation,” she stated.

Iakina pointed out that buying flights well in advance can save a lot of money, especially during busy travel times like Eid. Travelers can obtain better tickets by booking foreign flights 15 to 45 days in advance, and flying on Fridays rather than Saturdays can result in up to 18% lower ticket prices, according to current industry data cited by the airline.
